The Karukera Kayak Challenge (KKC) is a long-distance “Downwind” type sea race, organized by the Club Nautique de Basse-Terre (CNBT) in partnership with the Guadeloupe Regional Canoe-Kayak Committee (CRGCK). The KKC is open to surfskis, canoes, stand up paddles and paddleboards and concerns all competitors in the cadet to veteran categories. The KKC is a race recognized by the French Federation of Canoeing and Paddle Sports (FFCK) and national selective for the next French Ocean Racing Championship.
